recorded at The Grand, London, April 29, 1993, from:
Peter Hammill: vocals and guitar
Stuart Hooly "Gordon: violin, guitar, vocals
Manny" Max "Elias: drums
Nic" Mozart "Potter: Bass
Join in an evening in late April of 1993 at The Grand in London during the tour of The Noise. Being a hard loud, Hammill goes on tour with an education that revives the splendor of the K Group: the leader on guitar, Stuart "Holly" Gordon violin, guitar and vocals, Nic Mozart Potter and Manny "Max" to the section Elias rhythm.
The record opens to huge, with a guitar riff to Lou Reed (Vicious) for Sci-Finance (Revisited) . But PH is not a rock star and the atmosphere suddenly becomes harder and more angular.
The Habit Of The Broken Heart is played on a slow, hypnotic bass and drums, based on The Quiet Zone, but at least until the Stooges could be involved in the violin.
Sign from Sitting Targets , is still based on a hypnotic rhythm and the incessant Can.
I Will Find You (from Fireships ) is maybe too melodic for a new wave band, although embroidered Hooly the violin.
Lost and Found is another slow stretched from Over , extended for eight minutes.
Planet Coventry (new song from The Noise ) and Empress's Clothes ( Sitting Targets ) are long, harsh and alienating.
The concert becomes more human with the exciting Cat's Eye / Yellow Fever , still Quiet Zone, which is confirmed as the father of the idea of \u200b\u200bpunk quartet PH. Closing
great with a hot version of twelve minutes First On The Parapet 's masterpiece The Noise, and the encore of Central Hotel , rock & roll by Sitting Targets .
Board for purchase: a vibrant live album for any collector of PH in concert.
